  I just returned to Greater Portland Bible after being gone for several years. The people have always been very friendly and open, but there is even a greater focus on acceptance of others and helping the community. They have a great group which meets directly after the 9am service, which allows for group discussion about the sermon or whatever the topic is. They also have small groups that meet weekly. I find it hard/scary to get to know people..but not here!

  A 'young geezer' friend of mine and I often go to this church -on Saturdays- for the welfare food pantry that this church offers -via donations from Trader Joe's and a few other grocery stores.
  
  The staff are friendly and there is usually a very ample amount of food they give away. If it wasn't for their services, my 'young geezer' friend and I may be starving much of the time. Great Christian hospitality.

  I have not yet attended any of their services on Sunday's or Bible studies however, they hold a magnificent food bank & have a pretty awesome 12 or 18 hole frisbee golf course! The people that I've met that attend to that church are so warm hearted & helpful, especially Jeff Lance. He has helped my friend & I out so much, we are always so grateful for this place!

  Good course. Not too difficult, a lot of flat open holes. Frequently busy groups of 2-4, especially on weekends (though I think they limit the hours when the church is in use). I'm not a fan of the holes that go across the parking lot; my driver gets really chewed up on these holes.
